Vintage 1960's Danelectro 3012 DC-1 Shorthorn - Copper
Vintage 1960's Danelectro 3012 DC-1 Shorthorn - Copper
If you're looking for something quirky and full of character, this vintage Danelectro 3012 DC-1 Shorthorn is a ton of fun! With its Copper finish and seal pickguard (found on models post-1959), this lightweight little beast packs some serious mojo. The lipstick pickup delivers that classic Danelectro tone, and the unique wooden bridge saddle adds to its charm. It's an instrument that stands out both in looks and sound.
Condition-wise, this guitar is in good shape but has seen some stories along the way. The body is in great shape with hardly any notable markings, the neck has a couple marks breaking through the finish. The wrap along the sides is in good shape, with practically no discoloration and markings to be found. There is a slight crack in the headstock, but doesn't impact playability at all. A small wraparound tailpiece was added that looks good and works as it should, we will leave it to buyers descretion whether its removed or not, it is very easy to remove. Please refer to the photos for condition. Frets are in great shape with no divot's. Overall, it's a fantastic player's grade vintage guitar that's sure to bring a lot of joy wherever it goes!
