Conditions of consignment
Straightforward terms, no surprises. Commission is based on the final selling price before sales tax, and all marketplace fees are already included.

0190-day term
The agreement runs 90 days from the date received. After that, we may recommend a price adjustment, renew, or return the item to you.
02Price protection
We won't drop the price below your lowest authorized selling price without your consent.
03Setup authorization
You authorize up to $100 in routine prep — cleaning, setup, restringing — with no further approval needed. These costs apply only if the item is withdrawn before sale.
04Early withdrawal
Withdraw before a sale and a $100 minimum service fee applies, plus any authorized setup, repair, or preparation costs.
05Exclusivity
While consigned, the item can't be sold elsewhere. A private sale during the term requires the $100 minimum service fee plus any applicable costs.
06Payment
Payouts are made on the 15th of the month following completion of the sale, once any return periods have closed.
07Returns
If a buyer returns the item, the consignment resumes and no payout is made until the sale is finally completed.
08Storage & pickup
Retrieve items within 30 days of termination. After that, a $25/month storage fee may apply; after 180 days the item may be considered abandoned, as permitted by law.
09Care & liability
We take reasonable care while the item is with us, but aren't responsible for market depreciation, hidden defects, normal aging, or conditions not apparent at intake.
10Buyout option
At any time before sale, we may purchase the item outright at the estimated net proceeds amount.
