This beautiful post-war Gibson ES-300 arrived to Quimper Sound Guitars in very well maintained shape! The playability is spot on, easy to play and feels great across the whole fretboard. The woody, deep acoustic tone comes alive when plugged in and rocking this amazing era defining vintage P90. This is perfect for jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, rock n' roll, slide, and everything in between. The tuners have been replaced, and metal strap buttons where installed (the original bridge strap button is broken). The pickguard was removed and is not included. There is a crack in the side of the guitar on the lower bout of the treble side it is stable, it won't move, bow and does not seem to be at risk of spreading. Otherwise the are finish cracks throughout the body and neck from temperature and age, and some rub wear and dings that go through the finish. None of these cosmetic marks are especially glaring, or ugly, and they don't inhibit the playing experience at all. Overall a great players grade vintage Gibson arch-top with all of the old school charm and explosive style. There is a non-original, but more durable hard case included.
