This Boucher Bluegrass Goose BG-42 arrived at Quimper Sound Guitars used in excellent playing shape. This is a premium dreadnaught with and excellent tonewood selection and crafted with an amazing attention to detail. Expect a big booming voice when attacked, and wonderful note articulation when plucked. The mahogany sides/back paired with the adirondack gold touch spruce top brings rich low ends, driving mids and beefy highs. Visually the Boucher is understated but extremely elegant with a beautifully figured rosewood body binding, ebony fretboard and bridge, inlaid logo fretmarker and gold hardware. Cosmetically speaking this specific guitar has seen play wear including some light surface marks and pick scratch, and one mark on the top that just barely breaks through some finish. The case is also missing a buckle. Overall a wonderful dreadnaught acoustic looking for its forever home, it may have some play wear but it plays amazingly and reliably and will for many years to come.
