Just in at Quimper Sound Guitars a beautiful Larrivee L-05! This guitar has a bigger body with round shoulders making for a big full tone with a great balance and warmth. A traditional wood selection of Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides/back paired with an ebony fretboard and bridge is elegant and economical providing unparalled tone, looks and feel.
There where two modifications to this guitar one being the strap button on the neck was installed/ relocated. There is a screw hole where the strap button used to be that was professionally filled. The second modification is a great Fishman Matrix Infinity Pickup. Its minimally invasive with a small control panel mounted beneath the sound-hole.
Conditionally this guitar is in great structural shape with no large cracks or breaks, and is set up well with only very light sings of fret wear. There are some dents and dings throughout. Theres small dents along the front and back binding, and other small dents and dings throughout the top and back, including some buckle rash. Perfectly normal signs of wear for a guitar that was played and enjoyed. Its no museum piece but for a daily guitar this plays with the best of them. Overall a great choice for anyone looking for a premium quality instrument that Larrivee is known for delivering, at a modest price. The original case is included.
