Finished in the serene and deeply unique Wild Blue color originally developed during the early Silver Sky design process, this marks the first Silver Sky ever produced with a fully matched painted headstock. Designed alongside John Mayer, the Silver Sky blends the soul and feel of beloved early-’60s single-coil guitars with PRS precision, stability, and modern reliability.
The alder body and comfortable scoop cutaway pair with a vintage-inspired 635JM-R maple neck carve, 25.5” scale length, and 7.25” radius rosewood fretboard for an instantly familiar feel. The inverted PRS headstock and locking vintage-style tuners improve tuning stability while keeping the classic aesthetic intact.
Its trio of 635JM single-coil pickups delivers everything you want from a great vintage-inspired guitar — glassy highs, warm lows, outstanding note clarity, and rich harmonic chime without harshness. In-between positions remain noise-canceling, making this one of the most studio- and stage-friendly single-coil guitars PRS has ever produced.
