The PRS Astryx Limited Edition is a Custom 24 turned signature model for
Dany Villarreal, lead guitarist and co-founder of the powerhouse rock trio
The Warning. Known for her commanding stage presence, razor-sharp riffs,
and dynamic versatility, Villarreal has become one of the most
exciting young guitarists in modern rock. Only 200 PRS Astryx Limited
Edition instruments will be made in 2026. Every guitar comes with an
autographed backplate.
The core specifications stay true to the Custom 24: maple top, mahogany
back, 24-fret, 25” scale length Pattern Thin neck, PRS Patented Gen III
Tremolo, and a pair of DMO humbuckers with one notable difference being
the ebony fretboard.

This guitar is an ode to Villarreal’s rise as a player and her journey toward
finding her identity. The model name, Astryx, stems from the root word for
“star,” alluding to divine guidance and a connection to something greater
than ourselves. Visually, the guitar is personalized with a unique inlay
featuring a sun on the twelfth fret, along with a striking new finish.
Continuing the celestial theme while honoring her Mexican heritage, the
inlay name – Solecito – translates to “little sun.” The finish, a beautiful fade
of purple, pink, orange, and yellow, is named Ocaso, fittingly meaning
“sunset.”
Dany Villarreal has established her identity as a fearless player and
songwriter, blending technical precision with raw energy. This is her first
signature model
