Here’s a wonderful little vintage Martin with a huge voice for its size. This 1966 0-18 has that dry, woody, broken-in mahogany tone these small-bodied Martins are loved for responsive, warm, and incredibly fun to play. A true mighty little beast. Nice Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge.
This guitar has had crack repairs performed in-house here at Quimper Sound. There are repaired cracks beneath the pickguard area, as shown in the photos, along with a repair on the bass side of the body that is also clearly pictured. The repairs are stable and the guitar plays wonderfully.
Other than the noted crack repairs, everything appears to remain original. It has honest vintage wear throughout consistent with a well-loved nearly 60-year-old instrument, giving it all the character you’d hope for in a player-grade vintage Martin.
Includes a period-correct chipboard case.
