Every Saturday, the Uptown neighborhood of Port Townsend comes alive with the energy of the Port Townsend Farmers Market—and right across the street, Quimper Sound Records & Guitars adds a soundtrack to the scene.
On April 12th, Record Store Day kicked off with a line of eager vinyl lovers wrapped around the block. As shoppers filled their baskets with local produce, fresh flowers, and handmade goods from the market, many looked over in awe at the early-morning line outside our doors. It was a reminder of how much this little town loves its music—and how Saturdays here are something special.
Whether you're here for limited-run LPs, rare guitar finds, or the region’s best organic veggies, this corner of Uptown is the place to be. After you stock up on mushrooms, sourdough, and maybe a handmade soap or two, pop across the street and flip through bins of records or plug in to test out a vintage amp.
