The goal isn't to turn the Compressor into a fuzz or overdrive. Instead, germanium is used where it can do something uniquely musical: soften the edge of high frequencies and distorted signals, sustain and bloom more naturally for even more touch-sensitive and dynamic response, and saturate in a way that's more pleasing and less harsh. All of this comes without the added noise or loss of headroom associated with germanium equipped circuits. Now add Keeley's super silent switching buffer, selectable true bypass or buffered operation, 9-18V compatibility, ultra-low current draw, all housed in a proprietary battle tested enclosure.

How do you make the Keeley Compressor better without losing anything about what guitarists fell in love with in the first place? That's not an easy question & it's a big legacy to look after. 25 years later, with more than 160,000 compressors sold worldwide we think you will agree, the Compressor Plus Germanium is the best compressor Keeley's made yet.

Current Draw: 25mA (50mA Max when switching relay)

Input Impedance: ~ 333K

Output Impedance: ~ 1K

True-Bypass / Buffered Operation

Level, Blend, Comp/Sustain, Tone Pots

Recovery Speed Switch (Single Coil/Humbucker)

9-18V DC Input Acceptable

https://www.quimpersound.com/products/keeley-compressor-plus-germanium-quimper-exclusive-moon-glow-edition
